They’ve submitted a version of Shi that seems to avoid the issues found in other moonshots, while allowing Shi to be used to counter and balance payments that need to be done without market fluctuations. This will be an experimental protocol, like everything decentralized that Shib does, and a more detailed and complex set of information will be released about this token as it is finalized. Bearing no insane issues, this should be released in 2022.

Tether is set to launch a new stablecoin pegged to the British pound early next month. "We believe that the United Kingdom is the next frontier for blockchain innovation and the wider implementation of cryptocurrency for financial markets," Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino said in the statement. While Tether has several fiat-pegged stablecoins, its USD-pegged stablecoin USDT remains the most popular, although it has recently seen significant redemptions amid panic over the collapse of algorithmic stablecoin terraUSD (UST) and general market downturn.

'테라 생태계 복원 계획'에 대한 커뮤니티 투표는 25일 마감 시간을 기준으로 찬성 65.5%, 반대 0.33%, 기권 20.98%로 과반수 이상이 표를 던지며 최종적으로 승인됐다. 이에 따라 새로운 테라는 알고리즘 스테이블코인 기반이 아닌 새로운 형식으로 27일부터 새로운 형태로 2.0 체인을 형성할 예정이다.

More than 85 million votes have been cast in favor of forking the Terra network. The proposal needs 188 million votes in favor to pass before the window closes on May 25. The governance proposal would create a new chain named Terra not linked to UST, using the token LUNA.

Terra Luna co-founder Do Kwon announced a revised plan to restore the ecosystem. New governance proposal will fork the Terra Luna chain called Terra (token name: LUNA) The new chain will not be linked to the TerraUSD (UST) stablecoin. Under Kwon's plan, the new LUNA chain will go live on May 27.
