Finance Minister Siluanov announced that bitcoin mined in Russia can be used in foreign trade transactions. These transactions are already taking place and are expected to expand further next year. President Putin criticized the U.S. for undermining the dollar's role as a reserve currency by using it for political purposes. Putin specifically mentioned bitcoin as an example of alternative assets, emphasizing that no one in the world could regulate it.
