A recent survey released by OpenText Cybersecurity revealed that while demand for AI among MSPs (managed service providers) is significantly increasing, their actual readiness is falling short. According to the survey, 96% of MSPs worldwide expect AI to drive business growth in the next year, but only 46% said they feel fully prepared to support AI adoption. Analysts note that AI is a strong growth driver, but the gap between market demand and readiness is widening. Michael DePalma, vice president of business development at OpenText Cybersecurity, stressed, “A 50% readiness rate is less a crisis than an opportunity. The role of MSPs is not just to boost efficiency, but to show how AI impacts a company’s entire business strategy.”
