U.S. electric car maker Tesla announced plans to deploy its Full Self-Driving (FSD) function in the Chinese market. Tesla is moving forward with plans to introduce its Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta version in China. FSD is Tesla's most advanced driver-assist system, capable of autonomously navigating highways and city roads. Recently, Tesla China's website's owner's manual briefly mentioned FSD Beta, but this reference was later removed. The Chinese government has issued a notice allowing road tests for vehicles with Level 3 and Level 4 autonomous capabilities. Tesla has been preparing for FSD in China, establishing a data center in Shanghai in 2021 and forming an FSD operations team and data labeling team.
