A new Forrester report evaluates the world's top AI foundational models for languages. The models included in the report range from Amazon Bedrock and Google Gemini to OpenAI GPT-4 and Anthropic Claude. According to Forrester's "AI Foundational Models for Languages, Q2 2024" report, AI startups like Cohere and Mistral AI are competing with global tech giants like IBM, Microsoft, and Nvidia. "The GenAI zeitgeist has propelled AI foundational models for language to the center of technology and business leaders' minds," said Forrester, an IT market research firm. Forrester also evaluated the top 10 most important AI foundation model language providers globally and ranked them on three dimensions: the AI FM product itself, the company's strategy, and overall market presence, and how they stack up against each other.
