EU, 2035년부터 휘발유·디젤 신차 판매 금지 합의

European Union strikes deal on law to effectively ban sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2035. Carmakers must achieve a 100% cut in CO2 emissions by 2035, which would make it impossible to sell new fossil fuel-powered vehicles in the 27-country bloc. Tesla Cyberquad for Kids is being recalled by Radio Flyer. The Consumer Product Safety Commission found that it violates federal safety standards for youths. The agency determined that, among other issues, the mechanical suspension and maximum tire pressure weren't adequate. The Cyberquad has up to 15 miles of range and a top speed of 10 mph. It's designed to look like the standard Cyberquad, which Tesla announced alongside the Cybertruck.

Australia's attorney-general has announced a major privacy law change. The move follows a spate of data breaches in recent weeks, such as the Optus telco breach last month. The changes will be made via an amendment to the country’s privacy laws, following a long process of consultation on reforms.
