Qualcomm sales rose 37% in the third quarter. The company's handset business grew 59% on an annual basis to $6.15 billion. But the company's forecast suggests that handset sales growth will slow during the fourth quarter. Qualcomm's IoT business, which makes low-power chips for connected devices, grew 31% to $1.83 billion.
