Google Stadia is set to shut down on January 18th, 2023. The company is starting to process refunds for Stadia games, add-ons, and subscription fees. Google says it will try to refund transactions to their original form of payment. The majority of refunds will be processed by the end of January, but Google doesn't say when it will process hardware purchases.

구글이 이용자 저조를 이유로 클라우드 게임 서비스인 스타디아(Stadia)를 내년 1월 중단한다. 소비자가 구매한 스타디아 하드웨어와 게임 등 콘텐츠는 환불받는다. 구독료는 환불 대상은 아니지만, 서비스 종료 때까지 요금이 청구되진 않는다.

넷플릭스, 자체 게임 스튜디오 설립

Netflix is forming an in-house game studio in Helsinki, Finland. The studio will create "world-class" original games without ads or in-app purchases. The company has purchased developers, but hasn't built a developer from scratch until now. It's too soon for details of the games themselves, but Zynga and EA alumnus Marko Lastikka will serve as director.
