미국, 1분기 성장률 예상치 ‘반토막’... 1.1% 전망

U.S. gross domestic product (GDP) growth slowed to just 1.1% in the first quarter, half of expectations, as the U.S. Federal Reserve continues its highly accommodative monetary policy. The slowdown in the U.S. economy is evident, with inflation still running more than double the Fed's 2% target. As a result, it is widely expected that a rate hike will be discussed at the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting in May.
