Gordon Moore, who along with Robert Noyce founded Intel Corp. and on the way shaped the entire IT industry as we know it today, has died at the age of 94. Intel and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation Friday said that Moore died Friday at his home in Hawaii. Moore was born on Jan. 3, 1929 in San Francisco.
