Wall Street Journal obtained records of six emergency calls from iPhones. Crash detection system was introduced in the new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8, Ultra and SE with the latest OS. Users given option to turn feature off or dismiss the alert. If user does not respond after 20 seconds, phone automatically calls emergency services.
