OpenAI shipped GPT-4 yesterday, the much-anticipated text-generating AI model. The model improves upon its predecessor, G PT-3, in key ways, including giving more factually true statements. It's also multimodal in the sense that it can understand images, allowing it to caption and explain the contents of a photo.
