In June of next year, Goldman Sachs predicted that the U.S. Federal Reserve would cut interest rates. Goldman Sachs projected that the U.S. benchmark interest rate would be lowered starting in the second quarter of 2024, with a gradual pace of quarterly cuts. It also said that as inflation moves closer to its target, the Federal Reserve will continue to cut rates to normalize them at a limited level.
