Xiaolang Zhang pleaded guilty to a felony charge of theft of trade secrets. He was arrested in 2018 at San Jose International Airport as he was trying to board a last-minute flight to China. Zhang was accused of transferring 25-page document that includes engineering schematics of a circuit board for the company's self-driving vehicle. He faces up to ten years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
