Databricks, a data analytics platform that uses artificial intelligence, is in talks for a new funding round that would value the company at $43 billion, Bloomberg reported. However, it added that "these non-public discussions are at a preliminary stage and may fail," citing a person familiar with the matter. If the round is successful, it would value the San Francisco-based data bricks company at $38 billion, well above what it achieved in a funding round led by Counterpoint Global two years ago, Bloomberg said.
