"물류 창고를 맡겨라" 아마존, 완전 자율이동 로봇 공개

아마존이 물류 창고용 완전 자율이동 로봇 '프로테우스'를 처음으로 공개했다. 기존 운송용 로봇과 달리 프로테우스는 상황에 따라 스스로 판단해 화물을 운송하는 지능형 로봇이라는 점이 차별점이다. 아마존은 몇가지 보완점을 개선한 후 내년부터 미국 전역의 물류 창고와 주문 처리 센터에서 확대 보급할 계획이다.

Elon Musk says that Tesla is tracking to have a working prototype humanoid robot, Tesla Optimus, by the end of September. The CEO also teased other things to be unveiled during the event that will position Tesla as more than an automaker and more like a “real-world AI company”, We have these sort of AI Day events to just emphasize that Tesla is a lot more than a car company and that we are, in my view, the leading real-world AI company that exists.

민간 주도의 로봇산업 활성화와 이에 따른 정부 규제혁파의 로드맵2.0이 나온다. 산업통상자원부는 9일 로봇산업 활성화 관련 규제 개선사항 발굴을 위해 산·학·연 전문가들이 주도하는 '로봇산업 규제개선 민간협의체'를 출범시키고, 관계부처와 로봇산업 선제적 규제혁신 로드맵2.0을 올해 하반기에 수립하겠다는 계획을 밝혔다.

Robots are turning up on more factory floors and assembly lines as companies struggle to hire enough workers to fill rising orders. Orders for workplace robots in the U.S. increased by a record 40% during the first quarter compared with the same period in 2021, according to the Association for Advancing Automation, the robotics industry’s trade group. Robot orders, worth $1.6 billion, climbed 22% in 2021, following years of stagnant or declining order volumes, the group said.

대한민국 내일을 바꿀 발명 기술 1위로 ‘인공지능(AI)’이 선정됐다. 특허청은 제57회 발명의 날을 맞아 국민들이 뽑은 ‘대한민국 내일을 바꿀 10대 발명 기술’을 선정해 발표했다. 인공지능 기술에 이어서 2위는 로봇, 3위는 미래차가 차지했으며, 수소(4위), 에너지(5위) 등이 뒤를 이었다. 이어 생명공학(바이오), 우주·항공, 신소재, 배터리, 반도체 기술이 10위 안에 이름을 올렸다.

홀서빙 로봇 '세그웨이 S1' 한국시장 출시

AI 자율 주행 로봇 전문 기업 로보와이드가 세그웨이 로보틱스의 서비스 로봇 공식 한국 파트너로 선정되었다고 13일 밝혔다. 로보와이드는 이번 제휴로 세그웨이 서브봇 S1 (이하 S1)을 오는 6월 한국에 처음 출시할 예정이다.
