애플, 베트남에서 애플워치와 맥북 생산 논의 중

Apple is reportedly in talks to produce Apple Watches, HomePods and MacBooks in Vietnam. The company has dealt with supply chain disruptions because of Covid-lockdowns in China, so it has been looking to expand production elsewhere. Vietnam already produces some of Apple’s AirPods and the company reportedly began to move iPad production to the country in June.

Apple is expected to launch the M2 Pro and M2 Max MacBook Pro this fall. The M2 processors are expected to be more powerful than the current M1 chips. The new machines could launch between fall 2022 and spring 2023. Apple just revamped the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with a redesign and a better display.

According to Patently Apple, the Pencil can act as a mouse when lying in its retainer within the computer. There’s also a high-end lighting system built into said retainer where the Apple Pencil will replace the F-Key row. With this, the functional keys will appear illuminated on the Pencil. The patent shows a MacBook with an input tool (an Apple Pencil or similar device) that has a sensor just above the keyboard.

Apple has been granted a patent for a hinged iPad keyboard accessory. The accessory could include a base portion with a keyboard with electromechanical keys and a coupling mechanism for attaching to a tablet. The hinge may magnetically support an Apple Pencil and could also feature a connection interface for supporting other accessories like a camera.
