TikTok has filed a lawsuit against Montana, the first state in the U.S. to ban TikTok. "We challenge Montana's unconstitutional ban on TikTok to protect our business and the hundreds of thousands of TikTok users in Montana," the company, which is owned by Chinese tech company ByteDance, said in a complaint filed in federal court in Missoula, Montana. "Based on precedent and the facts, we are confident we will prevail."
