President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID-19 Thursday morning, the White House announced. The 79-year-old is fully vaccinated and twice boosted and is experiencing very mild symptoms, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement. He has already begun a course of the antiviral Paxlovid and has started an isolation period in the White House, consistent with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

미국 바이든 행정부가 2일(현지시간) 미국 내 전기차 배터리 증산에 31억달러(약 3조9300억원) 규모의 예산 지원 계획을 밝혔다고 경제매체 CNBC가 보도했다. 미국은 중국, 유럽에 이어 세계 3위의 전기차 시장으로 평가된다. 그러나 아직 전기차 판매 비중은 낮은 편이다.
