중국, 반도체산업 400억 달러 펀드 조성 계획

China has made plans to boost its semiconductor industry in the wake of ongoing U.S. trade sanctions. China is planning to set up a fund to bolster its semiconductor industry, Reuters reported. The state-backed fund will be the third in a series of investment funds for China's integrated circuit industry, It aims to raise 300 billion yuan ($41 billion). The previous two funds raised 138 billion yuan ($19 billion) in 2014 and 200 billion yuan ($27 billion) in 2019. China's Ministry of Finance is expected to contribute about 60 billion yuan ($8 billion). Most of the funds will be focused on infrastructure creation and R&D, especially for chip manufacturing.
