북한해커들이 북한 정권을 위해 암호화폐를 훔쳐 나르고 있다. 북한 IT 근로자들은 가짜 신원을 만들어 전세계 수백개의 조직에 이미 침투한 것으로 나타났다. 이들은 채용 담당자와 벤처 캐피털리스트로 위장했으며, 이 과정에서 가상회의를 진행해 회의가 부적절하게 로드되도록 설계했다. 또한 미국에 있는 중개업체를 통해 회사에서 발급한 워크스테이션을 이용하고 수입을 처리하면서 북한에 적용되는 재정 제재를 피해갔다.

포레거시는 탈북민 창업가를 육성하는 아산나눔재단의 프로그램 ‘아산상회’의 액셀러레이팅 프로그램을 통해 기틀을 다졌다. 지난달 진행된 ‘아산상회 5기 데모데이’에서 IR 발표에 나선 강 대표는 포레거시 앱에 포함된 기능 중 ‘종이비행기’를 선보였다. 돌아가신 고인을 디지털 휴먼으로 복원해 움직이는 영상으로 메시지를 받을 수 있게 한 것이다. 강 대표는 이 기능을 통해 5년 전 돌아가신 외할머니(이하 할머니)를 디지털 휴먼으로 복원해 선보였다.

서울서 출발해 중부고속도로를 지나 평택제천고속도로로 내달려 대략 2시간 반 거리, 충북 음성에 위치한 하나도가는 고즈넉한 국도 한편에 위치해 있었다. 이곳에 하나도가가 들어선 것이 2018년 11월이니 어느덧 5년 전의 일이다. 같은 처지의 탈북민 출신 박영금 이사와 함께 하나도가의 문을 연 김성희 대표는 그보다 앞선 10년 전 북한을 탈출해 수 차례 죽을 고비를 넘기며 남한에 왔다. 2008년 가을, 3살짜리 딸을 업고 두만강을 건넌 것이 시작이었다. 그런 김 대표가 남한 중에서도 충북 음성에 터를 잡은 이유는 고향인 함경북도 회령과 비슷한 물맛 때문이었다고 한다.
