Samsung Electronics announced that the "Irregular Heart Rhythm Alert" feature of the Samsung Health Monitor application has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Irregular heart rhythms are detected through the Galaxy Watch's 'bioactive sensor'. If the Galaxy Watch continuously detects an irregular heartbeat, it will notify you on the watch display that you may have atrial fibrillation.
