Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, is reportedly under investigation for allegedly being a conduit for Russian sanctions evasion. The investigation led to the suspension of Bitcoin withdrawals on Binance for over an hour at one point. This morning, Binance announced on Twitter that it was temporarily suspending Bitcoin withdrawals due to network congestion. Withdrawals resumed within two hours of the announcement.
