Meta is reportedly considering whether to include the term 'Zionist' in its hate speech policy. This could be interpreted as a move to increase censorship of pro-Palestinian expression and speech. According to the Guardian newspaper, Meta met with more than 10 Arab, Muslim, and pro-Palestinian organizations last Friday to discuss plans to review its hate speech policy to ensure that the word 'Zionist' is not used to refer to Jews or Israelis online.
