Google's cost-cutting continues. Google has canceled plans to build a massive office building in Silicon Valley. The project was valued at $19 billion in economic impact. Google, which announced plans to cut 12,000 jobs earlier this year, has also disbanded its San Jose campus development team, and its main construction company, LendLease, has laid off 67 employees.
