테라 붕괴 사태 이후 테라폼랩스가 주도하는 테라 2.0 체인이 출범하면서 새로운 LUNA(테라) 토큰마저도 힘을 쓰지 못하고 있다. 상장 하루 만에 70% 급락하는 등 좀처럼 가치를 인정받지 못하는 모양새다.

최근 하락세에도 불구하고 암호화폐 시장에 대한 투자 여력은 상당 부분 존재하는 것으로 파악된다. JP모건은 암호화폐가 부동산의 대체 자산 중 하나이며, 적정가치가 현재가보다 약 28% 높은 3만8000달러 수준으로 평가했다.

Balenciaga revealed that it now is accepting payment in cryptocurrency. Given the plunge in their value over the last 10 days, one could argue the timing wasn’t ideal, but starting with the U.S., the brand will now accept crypto at its flagship stores, including on Madison Avenue in New York and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, as well as on balenciaga.com. Other regions and e-commerce will follow, the company said.

Video game retailer GameStop announced on Monday that it has launched a crypto and non-fungible token (NFT) wallet, as it prepares for a push into the world of digital assets. The self-custodial ethereum wallet will allow gamers and others to store, send, receive and use cryptocurrencies and NFTs across decentralized apps without having to leave their web browsers.

美 암호화폐 거래소 FTX, 주식 거래 기능 출시로 영역 확장

FTX is launching stock trading capabilities for its customers through its U.S. division. The company, helmed by billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried, says its launch will start in private beta mode for a select group of customers. The full rollout will begin in late 2022, FTX says.

G7 재무당국, 금융안정위원회에 암호화폐 규제 강화 촉구

The G7 urges the Financial Stability Board to speed up crypto-asset regulation. The turmoil referred to was the de-pegging of the TerraUSD (UST) stablecoin that began May 8. There were warning signs that the G7 ministers would be addressing the problem at their meeting.

BAYC has since recovered from a dip in floor price after the Otherdeed launch and has seen a minimal 3% decrease in the last seven days. The company is expected to have around 100 people working for it by the end of next year. Nomura last week announced its first bitcoin futures and options trades on the Chicago-based exchange CME.

The fund will offer exposure to companies at the intersection of finance, technology, and digital assets.

Terra Luna co-founder Do Kwon announced a revised plan to restore the ecosystem. New governance proposal will fork the Terra Luna chain called Terra (token name: LUNA) The new chain will not be linked to the TerraUSD (UST) stablecoin. Under Kwon's plan, the new LUNA chain will go live on May 27.
