Meta has announced an AI sandbox to help advertisers create alternative copy, text-prompted backgrounds, and image cropping for Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta's announcement comes after Andrew Bosworth, Meta's chief technology officer, said last month that the company plans to "use generative AI technology in ads." The feature is available to select advertisers and will be rolled out to more in July.
