Engadget, the nearly 20-year-old technology website, announced today that it is laying off employees and reorganizing its editorial team as part of a new strategy to increase traffic and revenue. The changes are intended to put a greater emphasis on growing revenue, and include laying off key editorial leaders, including the editor-in-chief. According to sources with knowledge of the internal situation, Yahoo-owned Engadget will lay off 10 employees, who have reportedly expressed "surprise" at the decision.
