Panasonic is reportedly planning to build a $4 billion battery plant in Oklahoma. The plant is expected to supply Tesla with a range-boosting battery. The move is part of a movement to bring auto manufacturing onshore. Automotive manufacturers and suppliers have announced more than $38 billion in investment through 2026.
