Russian internet service providers have blocked access to Google News after President Vladimir Putin accused Wagner mercenaries leader Yevgeny Prigozhin of "organizing an armed insurrection." According to NetBlocks, a cybersecurity and internet services watchdog (cited by the New York Times), at least five Russian carriers, including Rostelecom, U-LAN, and TelePlusL, are blocking web users in Russia from accessing the news aggregator.
