테슬라, '완전 자율 주행' 결함... 363,000대 리콜

Tesla is recalling all 363,000 of its vehicles with its "Full Self Driving" software. The feature requires a human driver to take control at any moment, as the system makes judgment errors. Tesla will attempt to fix the the FSD feature, which costs $15,000, through an over-the-air update.

최근 미국 샌프란시스코에서 발생한 8중 추돌로 부상자를 낸 사고의 원인이 테슬라의 완전자율주행 모드였다는 사고 운전자 진술과 조사결과가 공개됐다. 미국 고속도로교통안전국은 테슬라 차량에 대한 리콜을 심각하게 고려하고 있음을 시사하는 엔지니어링 분석으로 조사를 업그레이드한 것으로 알려졌다.

Tesla has been frequently releasing new software updates to the FSD Beta program and adding more owners to it. Today, Tesla has started using a new FSD beta software update (2022.12.3.10), and according to the release notes, it is one of the most extensive updates to date. The release notes also mentioned many more improvements – several of them related to the level of confidence in which the system takes action, which has been a source of frustration for using FSD Beta in the past.
