월마트가 26일 메타버스 게임 플랫폼인 로블록스에 2개의 경험 세계를 제공하면서 메타버스에 진입했다. 로블록스 안에 월마트랜드(Walmart Land)와 월마트의 유니버스 오브 플레이(Walmart’s Universe of Play) 두 가지 경험을 제공하기 시작한 것. 이는 두말 할 것도 없이 차세대 쇼핑객, 즉 젊은 ‘Z세대 쇼핑객’들을 겨냥한 대비책이다.
