Microsoft has announced that it will no longer update WordPad, which has been included as part of the Windows operating system. In fact, after 28 years of existence, it is now history and will be removed from future products. "We recommend using 'MS Word' for formatted text documents like '.doc' and '.rtf' and Windows Notepad for plain text documents like '.txt,'" Microsoft said.
