2022년 국회 자료를 보면 두 달 이상 10가지 넘는 약을 먹는 사람이 113만 명이다. 그 중 65세 이상이 90만 명이다. OECD 공개자료를 분석한 결과, 우리나라 75세 이상 고령자 중 70.2퍼센트가 3개월 이상 5개 넘는 의약품을 만성적으로 복용한다.

드론 배송 회사 'Zipline', 미국 유타주에 일반 의약품 배달 시작

Zipline is delivering prescriptions and medications to homes in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. The startup is promising on-demand deliveries directly to patients’ homes in “as little as 15 minutes” Ziplin plans to gradually expand to cater to more than 1 million customers over the next five years.

아마존, 내년 일본서 '처방약판매' 추진

Amazon is reportedly planning to launch a prescription drug delivery service in Japan next year. The company would not operate its own pharmacies or carry its own inventory, the report said. Amazon is already active in the online pharmacy business. The online retail giant recently announced its planned acquisition of primary care company One Medical.
