Crypto lender Celsius said it is pausing all account withdrawals and transfers, citing “extreme market conditions.” The firm had more than $8 billion lent out to clients and almost $12 billion in assets under management as of May. Bitcoin and other tokens plunged, with the world’s biggest digital coin falling to lows not seen since December 2020.
