‘챗GPT’의 또다른 자아, 어두운 페르소나라고 불리는 ‘댄’이 사용자들 사이에서 인기를 끌고 있다. 한 챗GPT 사용자가 검열 프로그램을 넘도록 하는 프롬프트를 입력했을 때 등장한 댄은 윤리나 규칙에 관심이 없으며 검증되지 않은 정보를 강력하게 제시하고 있다. 댄의 등장후 일주일만에 100만 사용자에 도달하는 등 그 인기를 입증했다.
