Apple today announced that it is supporting more than 13 GW of renewable electricity globally with its manufacturing partners. This announcement represents a nearly 30% increase in support over last year. In total, more than 250 suppliers operating in 28 countries have committed to using renewable energy in the production of all Apple products by 2030. This represents more than 85% of Apple's direct manufacturing costs and exceeds our goal by 20 GW.
