'테슬라'는 믿었는데…고용 동결하고 정리해고 들어간다

시장성이 견고한 것으로 여겨졌던 테슬라도 미국 내 기업의 정리해고 물결을 피하지 못할 것으로 보인다. 테슬라는 내년 1분기에 고용 동결과 함께 정리해고에 들어갈 예정이며 머스크의 트위터 인수로 인해 주가도 하락하고 있다. 미국 내 대다수 업계 전문가들은 테슬라 주식에 대한 목표주가를 하향 조정했다.

미국 전기차 기업 테슬라의 시가총액이 2년 만에 다시 5000억달러 선을 지키지 못했다. 올 초대비 주가가 반 토막 난 것이다. 14일(현지시간) 미국 나스닥 시장에 상장된 테슬라 주가는 2.58% 하락한 156.80달러에 마감했다. 연일 이어지는 주가 급락으로 시총은 4951억 달러의 큰 폭으로 줄어들었다. 블룸버그 및 CNN 등 주요 외신은 결국 테슬라의 시가총액이 5000억 달러가 무너졌다며 이는 2020년 11월 이후 2년 만이라고 전했다.
