Canadian synth-pop artist Grimes says AI artists can use his voice without worrying about copyright or legal enforcement. After seeing songs created by AI artists played more than 15 million times on TikTok and Spotify, Grimes said he believes there is no copyright violation as long as royalties are paid. The U.S. Copyright Office said in March that AI art, including music, is not copyrightable.
