Even though there was a market correction, venture capital is still having its largest fundraising year on record, closing on $137.5 billion. This is only slightly shy of the full-year total of $142.1 billion in 2021. However, it is unlikely that there will be a significant increase in overall VC fund activity before the end of the year.
