유영준 이사는 뤼튼테크놀로지스 창업 이전부터 이세영 대표와 초거대 생성 AI 기반 글쓰기 지원솔루션 개발을 진행했다. 글쓰기와 관련된 사고의 순간을 혁신하기 위한 고민으로 시작한 기술 개발에 전환점이 된 것은 2020년 등장한 초거대 AI 언어모델 ‘GPT-3’였다. 당시를 떠올리던 유 이사는 ‘이거다 싶었다’며 지난 시간을 복기했다.
