SEGA, a leading Japanese arcade game developer, is acquiring Angry Birds developer ROVIO. Rovio Entertainment is a Finland-based game developer that launched Angry Birds to the global mobile gaming market in 2009 and has been a huge success. SEGA will acquire all of Rovio's outstanding shares and stock options through a tender offer, for a total consideration of €760 million (KRW 1.182 billion).
