HBO has cancelled Westworld after four seasons. Showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy were hoping for a fifth season. The sci-fi series was trying to negotiate a deal as recently as October. The show's ratings and viewership have plummeted over the years. HBO spent more on the fourth season than it did on House of Dragons.
