Notion has launched Notion Mail, an AI-powered email client that integrates with Gmail. Notion Mail connects to users’ Gmail accounts and provides a range of features powered by AI, including organizing emails, drafting responses, scheduling meetings, and searching messages. All Notion users can access the service, with AI features available for free with monthly limits or unlimited through a paid plan. A key feature of Notion Mail is its ability to let users customize their inboxes as they wish. The AI automatically categorizes emails by topic and sorts them into separate folders, and the service also integrates with Notion’s calendar and knowledge management tools. For example, if a meeting is suggested in an email, the AI can automatically check the user’s schedule and recommend available times. With this new product, Notion is moving away from the traditional, one-size-fits-all approach to email management, offering a new method where AI creates a personalized inbox for each user. The company has also announced plans for future updates, including an iOS app and features that allow users to manage multiple inboxes in a single view.
