모토로라가 수차례 유출 끝에 2025년형 레이저 폴더블폰 3종을 공식 발표했다. 이번 라인업은 ▲레이저(2025), ▲레이저 플러스(2025), ▲레이저 울트라로 구성되며, 가장 고사양 모델인 ‘울트라’는 우드 마감 디자인과 함께 강력한 성능으로 주목받고 있다.
레이저 울트라는 스냅드래곤 8 엘리트 프로세서를 탑재해 세계에서 가장 강력하고 빠른 충전 속도를 가진 플립폰이라는 점을 내세웠다. 4인치 외부 디스플레이와 7인치 내부 디스플레이, 16GB 램, 최대 1TB 저장공간, 4700mAh 배터리, 50MP 트리플 카메라 등을 갖췄으며, 가격은 $1,300(약 180만 원)이다.
세 모델 모두 구글 제미니 기반의 ‘Moto AI’를 탑재해 음성 명령 기반 메모, 그룹샷 합성 등 다양한 AI 기능을 지원하며, 울트라 모델에는 전용 AI 버튼도 포함됐다.
보급형 모델인 레이저(2025)는 3.6인치 외부 디스플레이, 6.9인치 내부 디스플레이, 미디어텍 Dimensity 7400X 칩셋, 8GB 램, 256GB 저장공간, 4500mAh 배터리를 탑재하고 $699부터 시작한다. 중간급인 레이저 플러스(2025)는 스냅드래곤 8S Gen 3, 12GB 램, 256GB 저장공간, 50MP 광각·13MP 망원 카메라 조합을 갖추고 $999에 출시된다.
모든 제품은 5월 7일부터 미국 내 모토로라 공식 홈페이지, 아마존, 베스트바이에서 사전 주문이 가능하며, 출시 일정은 추후 공개될 예정이다.
Motorola has unveiled its 2025 Razr lineup, featuring three new foldable phones: the Razr (2025), Razr Plus (2025), and Razr Ultra. The flagship Ultra model stands out with a faux-wood finish, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and high-end specs, including a 4-inch external display, 7-inch inner screen, 16GB RAM, 512GB–1TB storage, and a 4,700mAh battery. It’s priced at $1,300.
All three models feature Moto AI, powered by Google Gemini, which enables smart features like note tracking and advanced group photo merging. The Ultra includes a dedicated AI button.
The base Razr (2025), starting at $699, offers a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chip, 8GB RAM, and a more modest camera setup. The mid-tier Razr Plus, priced at $999, includes Snapdragon 8S Gen 3, 12GB RAM, and a 50MP dual-lens system.
The 2025 Razr phones will be available for U.S. pre-orders starting May 7 via Motorola, Amazon, and Best Buy. Full availability details are expected soon.
