This Gemini-powered feature detects places mentioned in text within screenshots, displays them on the map, and allows users to save locations to shareable lists. Google Search's AI Overviews are also being updated with itinerary-building capabilities, rolling out in English to US users on mobile and desktop this week, enabling creation of trip ideas for specific regions or entire countries. Google also announced that AI Overviews in Google Lens will soon be available in Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Additionally, the price drop alerts already available for Google Flights are launching globally for Google's hotel search tool this week on both mobile and desktop browsers, allowing users to track prices for chosen dates and destinations via email notifications.
