Thousands of users reported outages on popular apps including Spotify, Discord, Snapchat, Character.AI, and AI coding platforms like Cursor and Replit according to DownDetector. AWS and Microsoft Azure did not experience service disruptions during this incident. The outages began around 11 a.m. PT, disrupting millions of users during the workday across the U.S.
