Kia's first dedicated electric van, the PV5, has been spotted for the first time in the US. The PV5, unveiled at CES alongside the PV1 and PV9, is the first model in Kia's new PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle) lineup. Kia claims this "game-changing" PBV platform will be a total mobility solution beyond traditional vehicle concepts. The mid-size PV5 will be available in various configurations including basic passenger, delivery van, and pickup truck bed options. The camouflaged vehicle spotted at a charging station in Indiana appears slightly larger than the Volkswagen ID.Buzz and potentially similar in size to Ford's E-Transit. Kia teased the PV5 last week ahead of its global debut on February 27, where it will be showcased alongside the EV4 and EV2 at its second EV Day event.
