Notion has launched a new “AI Agent” alongside the release of Notion 3.0. The company introduced the feature as “a teammate and Notion super user” that “can do almost everything a human can do in Notion.” The AI Agent can automatically create pages and databases, as well as search across external tools such as Slack and the internet. It is capable of performing autonomous work spanning hundreds of pages for up to 20 minutes at a time. The agent also learns from a user’s work habits, remembering how they prefer to manage content, and provides customized actions based on different profiles. Key use cases include creating email campaigns, compiling and analyzing multi-platform feedback into comprehensive reports, and converting meeting notes into emails or proposals. The launch had been previewed through demonstration videos released in August and September by Notion cofounder Akshay Kothari.
