Meta has delayed the release of its next-generation flagship AI model, "Behemoth." It is reported that internal engineers have struggled to improve the model's performance, raising doubts about whether the improvements are significant enough to justify a public launch. Originally scheduled for release in April to coincide with Meta's first AI developer conference, the internal timeline was pushed to June and has recently been postponed again to fall or later. In April of this year, Meta unveiled "Llama 4 Behemoth," describing it as the most powerful large language model that will serve as a "teacher" for new models. In the same month, it also released "Llama 4 Scout" and "Llama 4 Maverick."
